The Bioeconomy Council of the German Government organized the first Global Bioeconomy Summit in Berlin in 2015. More than 100 international speakers presented policy concepts, lessons-learned and concrete examples in a series of plenary sessions as well as in parallel roundtables and poster sessions. The UN FAO, the OECD, the European Commission, the International Energy Agency and the Botanical Gardens Conservation International hosted workshops at the Summit.
Together with the members of the International Advisory Council, an ambitious program featuring high-level speakers and bioeconomy experts from around the globe has again been developed for 2018. The GBS2018 will again take place in Brussels providing 13 expert workshops dealing with topics considered by international bioeconomy stakeholders as highly important and emerging.
Seats at the GBS2018 are filling up quickly – we are nearing 500 registrations. Please register as soon as possible if you plan to attend.
