In its new call for project proposals under the LIFE programme, the European Commisison (EC) has earmarked more than €450 million for projects related to nature conservation, environmental protection and climate action. This is part of the EC’s plan in reaching the EU Green Deal‘s climate neutrality objective.
The LIFE Programme funds projects under its environment and climate action sub-programmes, including both traditional projects which can be coordinated by any legal entity registered in the EU and integrated projects which tend to have a regional, multi-regional, national or trans-national dimension.
Due to the spread of COVID-19, the EC has also introduced a number of measures to make it easier for candidates to apply under these exceptional circumstances.
More information about the call, how to apply and submission deadlines is available here.
