FTP has been assisting the Ministry of the Environment of Estonia with input to the conference Nature-based Solutions: From Innovation to Common-use (NBS 2017), a flagship event of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which will take place on 24-26 October 2017, in Tallinn.
The conference programming board has now launched a call for abstracts for oral presentations and posters. Practitioners, policy advisers and scientists are invited to submit individual or collaborative group work that addresses the thematic parallel sessions of the conference:
o Blue-green infrastructure in smart cities
o Integrated water management through natural systems
o ICT as a supporting tool for nature-based solutions and ecosystems
o Ecological restoration through eco-innovation
o Nature-based solutions in the circular economy
The submission of abstracts is open until 14 July 2017. Please download the call for abstracts here.
We strongly recommend that our dear readers submit an abstract for the conference. We also hope to see many of you at the side-event that FTP and the FTP National Support Group of Estonia will be organizing jointly on 24 October.
